Mississippi K-12 Education on its Way Up?

Last year Carey Wright was named Superintendent of Education in my home state of Mississippi. With a long list of qualifications, including a consulting gig with the Public Education Leadership Project at Harvard University, Wright brings a lot of expertise and knowledge to a state whose school system consistently ranks as one of the lowest in the nation.
