Overview of Northern New Mexico College <\/strong><\/p>\n

Northern New Mexico College, frequently referred to simply as “Northern,” is a public four-year university situated in Espanola, New Mexico. Northern students can select from 13 bachelor’s programs and over 50 associate and certificate degrees. The institution emphasizes student engagement, an effort that is backed by a 12 to 1 student\/faculty ratio, small classes, and extensive opportunities for hands-on experiences through undergraduate research, internships, and community involvement. The institution has a robust student life scene. Outside of the classroom, students can participate in a wide range of organizations and clubs and organizations. The NNMU Eagles play in the NAIA PCAC, Pacific Coast Athletic Conference. The institution majors four men’s and four women’s intercollegiate sports (cross country, basketball, golf, and bowling) and a co-ed spirit program.<\/p>\n
