If so, keep reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theedadvocate.org\/6-strategies-for-challenging-student-behavior-and-mastering-classroom-management\/\">Assess the appropriateness of the task to determine<\/a>(a) if the task is too easy, (b) if the task is too complicated, and (c) if the duration of time scheduled to finish the task is sufficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. <\/strong>Minimize stimuli that would contribute to unrelated or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theedadvocate.org\/transforming-aggression-defiance-and-disruptive-behaviors-with-the-skill-of-self-regulation\/\">unacceptable behavior<\/a>(e.g., testing situations, peers, physical <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theedadvocate.org\/promoting-multisensory-learning-experiences-that-benefit-all-brains\/\">learning activities<\/a>, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theedadvocate.org\/positive-reinforcement-key-element-preventative-behavior-management\/\">Talk regularly with the learner<\/a> to keep involvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. <\/strong>Organize the learner\u2019s surroundings so that time does not permit unrelated or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theedadvocate.org\/transforming-aggression-defiance-and-disruptive-behaviors-with-the-skill-of-self-regulation\/\">unacceptable behavior<\/a> to happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. <\/strong>Provide the learner with duties to keep them actively involved in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theedadvocate.org\/promoting-multisensory-learning-experiences-that-benefit-all-brains\/\">learning experience<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6. <\/strong>Alter or adjust situations that cause the learner to demonstrate unrelated or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theedadvocate.org\/transforming-aggression-defiance-and-disruptive-behaviors-with-the-skill-of-self-regulation\/\">unacceptable behavior<\/a>(e.g., keep the learner from becoming overstimulated in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theedadvocate.org\/promoting-multisensory-learning-experiences-that-benefit-all-brains\/\">learning activities<\/a> ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7. <\/strong>Make the appropriate adjustments in their surroundings to prevent the learner from experiencing stress, frustration, anger, etc., as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theedadvocate.org\/what-you-must-do-to-get-classroom-management-right\/\">Minimize distracting stimuli<\/a>(e.g., place the learner in the front row, give a table or quiet space away from distractions, etc.).
