Conference Carolinas to Sponsor Women’s Flag Football League

In a move to promote women’s sports and provide more opportunities for female athletes, Conference Carolinas has announced a historic partnership with the Women’s Flag Football League (WFFL). The partnership will see the collegiate athletic conference sponsor the WFFL, further solidifying its commitment to providing a platform for women’s sports.

Effective immediately, the WFFL will become a subsidiary of Conference Carolinas, which currently comprises 11 institutions across the southeastern United States. The partnership will enable the WFFL to benefit from the conference’s resources, expertise, and network, allowing for increased visibility and growth.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Women’s Flag Football League,” said Conference Carolinas Commissioner, COO. “Our conference has always been committed to promoting women’s sports and providing opportunities for female athletes. This partnership will allow us to further support and develop the sport of flag football, and we are confident that it will be a huge success.”

The WFFL was established in 2018 to provide a platform for women’s flag football at the collegiate level. The league has already seen significant growth and success, with teams from across the country competing in the league. With the partnership with Conference Carolinas, the WFFL expects to expand its reach and increase its profile.

“We are excited to partner with Conference Carolinas, an organization that shares our values and commitment to promoting women’s sports,” said WFFL Commissioner, Maria. “This partnership will be a game-changer for the league and we are looking forward to working together to grow the sport of flag football for women.”

The partnership will also provide opportunities for student-athletes from Conference Carolinas member institutions to participate in the WFFL, further developing their skills and representing their colleges at the national level. With this partnership, the future of women’s flag football looks bright, and Conference Carolinas is proud to be a part of it.
